Our Method

Understanding a collective requires a clear framework

Transparency & no hidden agenda

The first requirement of a credible collective intelligence approach is total transparency of the framework. At Collective Insight, every mission rests on non-negotiable principles.

  • Explicit context: every participant knows why they are being consulted, within what framework and with what objectives.

  • Shared objective: the mission's purpose is communicated from the start, with no ambiguity or hidden agenda.

  • Clear data usage: participants know how their contributions will be processed, anonymised and presented.

  • No narrative manipulation: results reflect the reality expressed, without biased rewriting or sugar-coating.

Methodological architecture

Our approach follows 6 structured steps, designed to ensure rigorous collection and relevant results.

Framing

Define with the sponsor the intent, objectives and conditions of the mission. Framing is the foundation of any rigorous approach.

Scope definition

Identify the populations involved, exploration axes and consultation boundaries. A clear scope prevents drift and unrealistic expectations.

Protected expression

Collect each participant's input within a confidential and structured framework. AI guides the interview, adapts questions and ensures depth of collection.

Structured processing

Analyse contributions through a rigorous AI pipeline: clustering, pattern detection, identification of convergences and divergences. Human analysis complements algorithmic analysis.

Modelling

Build a faithful and nuanced representation of the expressed collective intelligence. Results are structured, prioritised and contextualised.

Delivery & prioritisation

Deliver actionable results to the sponsor and stakeholders. Delivery includes prioritised recommendations and concrete action paths.

Success factors

For a collective intelligence mission to produce actionable results, certain conditions must be met. We share them in full transparency.

Identified sponsor

A clearly committed decision-maker who champions the initiative and commits to acting on the results.

Clear intention

A precise question or objective that justifies the consultation. Without clear intent, the approach loses its meaning.

Defined scope

The populations consulted and exploration axes are identified upfront. The scope frames expectations.

Framing owner

A dedicated client contact who actively participates in framing and validates orientations.

Genuine listening capacity

The organisation is ready to hear what the collective expresses, including uncomfortable messages.

Capacity for action

Results must lead to concrete decisions. A consultation without follow-through erodes trust.
